Vana Yuddham – Biography of Veerapan

The life of Veerapan is portrayed in the upcoming film Vana Yuddham on Ramesh’s direction starring by Arjun in the lead role as Special Task Force Officer Vijayakumar. Kishore as Veerapan, Vijayalakshmi, Suresh Oberoi and Lakshmi Rai are also playing led roles in the film.

Recently, on a press meet, Ramesh expressed that film is fully based on the life history of Veerapan after 10 years of research to make this film as realistic as possible. He added that few scenes in the film has been shot in the actual locations of where Veerapan dwelled with some characters are played by the real close friends of Veerapan. He also announced that this film will not have any scenes humiliating anyone’s feelings or with no partial thoughts. An interesting film Vana Yuddham will be in spotlight soon!

Selvaraghavan and Gitanjali pair has named their new baby girl as Lilavathi on a naming ceremony held at their home. After consulting with their close friends, relation and searching in the internet, they named their daughter with the Sanskrit origin word meaning beautiful to their princess on a special occasion.

Co- stars were also complimenting their name selection for their baby. Currently, Selvaraghavan is concentrating fully on the upcoming film Irandam Ulagam featured by Arya and Anushka. Welcome to the baby princess!

‘Pasanga’ and ‘Marina’ fame the young director Pandiraj is ready with his new script. In his new project, Vimal and Sivakarthikeyan will be featuring in the lead male roles who have already worked with him in his popular films Pasanga and Marina.

The film will be completely comedy with little mixture of romance between the scenes. Female lead roles and the other crew are yet to be finalized. ‘Puthiya Thiruppangal’ Movie Buzz

Nandha and Andrea Jeremiah starring in lead roles in the upcoming movie ‘Puthiya Thiruppangal’ movie is directed by Saradha Ramanathan, winner of three National Awards for ‘Sringaram’.

On a press meet, Saradha spoke extensively about the film that ‘Puthiya Thiruppangal’ movie is against child trafficking, specially focusing on a 13 year old little girl who is sold in the sex trade.

The role of the young girl is played by Dharini and Andrea as a journalist who brings this issue to spotlight through media. Director added that both Andrea and Nandha have played their roles to the perfection and the editor of the film is Rajalakshmi, newcomer to the industry. On her words “It’s not just another entertainer but has a serious take on the issue addressed”.

Hollywood Stunt ‘Lee’ for Viswaroopam

Latest buzz for Kamal Haasan’s ‘Viswaroopam’ is that the Hollywood’s leading stunt director Lee Whittaker is directing the climax of the movie. Lee Whittaker has directed for the blockbusters such as Michael Bay’s Pearl Harbor. Currently, the film is being shot in Mumbai. Initially Lee has refused to direct stunt in this film but he was later convinced by himself on watching Kamal’s stunts in his earlier films. Lee is popularly known for his aerial stunts are stepping in Indian cinema through this multi-lingual project.

Sources stated that Kamal and Rahul Bose have undergone rehearsals for more than a week before the actual shot. Technicians says that they have used minimum safety resources for their stunt scene and Lee Whittaker expressed that this film’s climax stunts are more dangerous and has excelled the stunts he has choreographed in Hollywood! About the climax scene, Kamal exclaimed as “the fight is dangerously enjoyable.”

films directed by Dhanush is now in talks with Andrea Jeremiah. Andrea and Sundar are spotted in many places by the Media. Initially, Sundar was rumoured to be in love with Richa Gangopadhyay, but was later denied by him on interviews. Recently on a public occasion, when asked about Andrea to Sundar, he confirmed that Andrea and he are in a good relationship.

Sundar in his own words as follows: “Andrea and I became friends when we acted together in dramas. There are chances for our relationship to blossom into love. We don’t see any problem if our friendship becomes love. All that I can say at this point of time is a respectable relationship exists between us now.” Apart from this rumours, Sundar has played a crucial role in Dhanush’s most expected film ’3′.
