Osthi Music Review

Simbu’s upcoming blockbuster ‘Osthi’ has already raised great anticipation after the audio launch. The music is composed by Thaman, and Director Dharani is directing the picture.

“It is the first full-fledged commercial movie of mine which is loaded with all necessary hit ingredients…”

– Simbu said during the audio launch.

There are 5 tracks in the playlist, and Thaman has focussed to attract the  masses and the music is mind blowing.

Osthi Maamey

The perfect opening song. Osthi maamey is a Peppy ‘Kuthu’ song which kindles all the fans to get up and dance. The lyrics to this song is written by vaali. The lyrics are very youthfull and trendy. A great energetic song to set the pace of the movie.

Unnale Unnale

Voices: Thaman , Rita

Unnale Unnale is a very romantic folk song sung by Thaman and Rita, with the essense of Yuvan Shankar’s music; It seems like Thaman follows Yuvan in many of his ways. The beat is not new to us. But it gives a great feeling to listen. Yugabharathi’s lyrics soothes our souls.

Neduvaali

Voices: Rahul Nambiar, Mahathi

A magical fast beat song, which will surely makes us dance. Hats off to Thaman, for composing an amazing song. Mahathi has proven that she is a versatile singer, and Rahul Nambiar’s  voice makes us tap our foot. The trailer shows that Simbu is rocking with his unique floor moments choreographed by Dance  Master Robert. Hope it will be visual trat for all STR fans.

A new trend is emerging in Tamil Music, which is called as Simbu songs. Simbu has a unique way of  songs with informal lingo. And like ‘loosu penney’, like ‘evan di unna pethan’. Pondati is already a hit song in this genre. The music is nice, and pleasing and will surely place in the radio charts soon.

Is ‘Kalasala’ the best song in the Album? Of course! Last but the best! L.R.Easwari’s powerful voice rocks joined with the thunderous voice of Vijaya.T.Rajendar. We bet you can’t stop dancing. Adding more pepper to the spices, Malika Sheravath is dancing for the song!

Review: If you love tamil, ‘kuthu’ songs, Osthi is number uno. But, Thaman fans miss the mesmerizing melodies of thaman. Nevertheless, Osthi songs have raised the anticipations to very high level. Lets see on December 2^nd.
