Vithagan Movie Review

Parthiban has shed lot of pounds to take up this police officer role in his 50^th movie ‘Vithagan’. And we would say he has done justice to the role.

The Plot-

Parthiban as Rowthiran, a police officer who is with an idea that everything must be done legally and in diplomative way. Poorna, as Mary is a girl in the church. They both fall in love in a social meet, and they get married. Parthiban finds out that some bad guys harass the children in the orphanage. And he sucks big time when he tries to solve the problem in a diplomatic way. So, the protagonist emerges as an outlaw and punish the baddies.

Review

Parthiban is here with his usual sarcastic way of dialogue deliveries. Parthiban’s direction is unique and gives us a whole new feeling, the screenplay is fast and keeps us in the pace. The Cinematography is to be focussed more. Poorna, ’the asin like girl’ has tried to seduce the viewers as much as she can, nothing much. Joshua Sridhar’s BGM has once again changed the standard of moive to a whole new stage. Parthiban’s Narration has differentiated this movie from all the other cop movies. Some parts in the first half make us sulk, but the second half is fast and nice.
