Billa 2 the Ajith Kumar Starrer is considered to be the top grossing movie of the year 2012. To make this affirmative famous distribution from the United States of America bought Billa 2 Distribution rights outside India for a whooping 1 million $USD.
Recently there were rumours in the k town that famous American Rapper Pitbull has been pulled in to sing a song in Billa 2.Yuvan Shankar raja has denied that they are false.
Ajith’s Daughter Birthday Special
The Ultimate Star was on Cloud 9 Yesterday, It was his Daughter’s Birthday. Anoushka, Ajith’s cute little daughter celebrated her Birthday in a posh manner. The Mankatha Hero threw a party for the most influential persons in the Kollywood.
Ajith, Shalini and Anoushka flew to Singapore to celebrate Anoushka’s Birthday. We are still not sure about the VVIPs who attended the party. Stay tuned with cini.in for more updates. After this short vacation, Ajith will fly back to Georgia for the second session shooting of Billa 2

Billa 2 team is taking a break
Billa-2 team is taking a break for Christmas. The team has been working very hard in Georgia for almost a month, So Director Chakri Toleti has decided to wrap up the shooting schedule. The Shooting of the movie is almost over, just a few scenes and song sequence are left out.
Chakri Toleti is back in home with his family in the United States. Chakri confirmed that the editing works are going on, even before the movie is not over, this is done to save a lot of time in the post production work. So we can anticipate the movie very soon to hit the screens.
Ajith and Billa-2 team flies to Europe.
After the shooting of the first Schedule of Ultimate Star Ajith’s- ”Billa-2″ in Goa. The Team has returned to Chennai. The team is now preparing to leave to Georgia, Europe and commence the next schedule of shooting.
Director Chakri Toleti has chosen Georgia, because the European country has been rarely explored by Indian Directors. Sources from Kollywood say that both Ajith and Toleti are working very hard to make up the movie as good as Hollywood movies. A lot of technology hasbeen heaped from the Hollywood to maintain the standards. Hope we can expect some great scenes from Georgia, in the next ‘thala’ blockbuster.

Everything that he does is in style,that’s Thala Ajith for you! The actor’s much awaited 50th film Mankatha is already creating a lot of buzz in the industry. The wait for the audio has come to an end today as the audio CDs have arrived in stores with some additional special features like some Yuvan Shankar Raja hits and a poster signed by Ajith Kumar himself. The songs are surely going to create waves on all the FM channels as the album consists of peppy and racy songs along with cool melody songs.

1. Vilayaadu Mankatha

The song swaps through various modes. To start off with, the beats faintly brings the most famous English pop Bebot Song from ‘Black Eyes Peas’ while the portions involving Anitha sound like an ancient black and while item song. But it’s the James Bond kind of music we hear through the instruments of Brass orchestrations that bump up our pulses. Major portions of the song are dominated by sound mixing and lots of gimmicks have been done over the voices.With so many singers included in the track, it’s obvious that your expectations would have been high at places. Yes, the song lives to the expectations and as the times goes on, we are sure it will surely attract the masses. But with the complete album pack reported of having a ‘Club Mix’ of this song, it can be predicted that the fast-paced version will intensify the feeling. It sounds like the song has been purposely composed with medium pace with accordance tothe dancing ability of Ajith Kumar. Gangai Amaran seems to have crafted the lyrics in an unstrained manner. Only few lines are catchy,but Yuvan embellishes with his earnest efforts to give a right feel of club song.
2. Nee Naan

Soothing melody that will surely capture the interests of universal music lovers as Yuvan tries bringing the impact of his father Isaignani Ilayaraja. SP Charan and Bhavatharani make it together a good pair rendering this song. Incisively, Bhavatharani has taken scrutinizing efforts over shifting the pitches. The musical aspect is so mild with guitars and strings dominating a lot.
3. Vaada Bin Lada
Vocals: Krish, Suchitra
Lyrics: Vaali
It sounds like a remix of late 80s item number… What’s more highlighting about the song is that the singers have tried shifting their paradigms. Sound engineers have taken an endeavouring attempt over modulating the voices of these singers. One would really wonder whether is it Krish rendering the song. Yuvan takes up techno beats as the backdrop and the rhythmic pattern during the first and second verses is catchy.
4. Machi Open The Bottle
Vocals: Mano, Premgi Amaran, Tippu, Haricharan, Naveen
Lyrics: Vaali
No need of analysis. This is a pure treat for the mass audiences and it’s gonna create ripples of sensation in theatres. Perhaps, it will turn cinema into dance floors. The lyrical lines are so invigorating to the senses of youth cohorts. In most parts, the song reminiscences of ‘Saroja Saamaan Nikalo’ (Chennai 600028). But with the second interlude, the song goes through a different pattern.
5.Nanbane
Vocals: Madhushree, Yuvan Shankar Raja
Lyrics: Vaali
One of the best songs in the album and it’ a slow poison indeed that will get itself injected into the senses of listeners as they keep hearing it. The musical composition is so beautiful and it gives the right feel of what is required for a romantic song. The lyrical lines by Vaali are the biggest assets for this song.
6. Balleilakka
Vocals: Karthik, Vijay Yesudas, Anusha Dayanidhi
Lyrics: Gangai Amaran
Producer Dayanidhi Azhagiri’s wife Anushka makes her debut as playback singer. The song doesn’t evoke our spirits. Compared to other songs, this one is quite mediocre. Vijay Yesudas and Karthik have done their portions with good efforts.
7. Theme Music
Just look back to 5 years… Yuvan Shankar Raja had spelled tremendous signature music for ‘Billa 2007’ and after long years, it’s time to look upon this one. ‘Mankatha’ has outstanding signature theme music and it’s obvious that Yuvan Shankar Raja should have spent more time working on it. Mark our words! It will soon become the most favourite Ringtones in town.
8. Vilayaadu Mankatha (Extended Dance Mix)
Vocals: Premji Amaran along with singers in other track
Few were disappointed that the track ‘Vilayaadu Mankatha’ was with slow-paced tempo and it wasn’t like the one they saw in teasers. Okay! Here is the one to set the dance floors emblazoned and it is going ring higher in discotheques for all seasons.
On the whole, ‘Mankatha’ boasts of best tracks and it’s one of the best albums in Ajith Kumar’s career till the date.

Mankatha Audio Cd Cover
There are no more delays and the countdown of ‘Mankatha’ audio has already begun. While talks are going on with UTV Motion Pictures to acquire the film rights, Sony BMG is all set to release the audio on August 10.
As revealed by the sources, the last moment changes have taken place thereby deleting a track that was meant for promotional videos. Since, it was delaying the release of music, the makers decided to remove the track.
The teasers of ‘Mankatha’ will be out from next week and it will be aired on satellite channels and theatres accordingly.

Ajith’s 35 Crores Billa 2 starts rolling
One of the most popular star’s in Tamil cinema, Ajith’s Billa 2 directed by Chakri Toleti started rolling in Ramoji Studios in Hyderabad from today (July 14).
The film will be the costliest Ajith film ever made on a budget of $ 7 million (approximately Rs 35 Cr).
Nearly four years back Ajith had done the super hit Billa directed by Vishnuvardhan.
Billa 2 is a prequel which charts the early years of David Billa to be played by Ajith as he transforms from a Tamil Nadu small town guy into Asia’s most dreaded gangster.
Mumbai model and theatre actress Huma Qureshi, and Bruna Abdullah are the two leading ladies.
Sudhanshu Pandey who played a cop in last week’s super hit Murder 2 plays one of the rival gangsters and
Malayalam actor Mano K Jayan (ex-husband of actress Urvasi) also has a
key role.
Billa 2 is the first Indian picture to use the Epic RED camer with 5K resolution and ace cameraman RD Rajasekhar will be the DOP.
Art director is Madhrasapattinam fame Selva Kumar and Yuvan Shanker Raja provides music.
Billa 2 is presented by IN Entertainment, a Hinduja Ventures company, with Chennai based Wide Angle Films producing it for them.
IN’s Sunir Kheterpal and Wide Angle’s Suresh Balaje and George Pius are the producers.
The edge of the seat action thriller will be shot in Hyderabad studio and exotic locations of Goa, Pondicherry, Thailand and Eastern Europe. IN Entertainment is planning to release it in April 2012, as Ajith’s big summer releas
New addition to Billa 2
The newest addition to the cast of Billa 2 is Vimala Raman. Huma Qureshi, a mumbai – based super model has already been signed up as the heroine. Vimala Raman will be another female lead and word is that her role is a good one. This actress was last seen in Raman Thediya Seethai and after that devoted her time to Malayalam and Telugu films.
This is her big comeback in Tamil and she is thankful that she has got a part opposite a huge star like Ajith. Vimala Raman is keeping her fingers crossed because after this she will surely recieve many more offers.
‘Mankatha’ 2nd schedule in chennai
Ajith, Trisha and Lakshmi Rai starrer ‘Mankatha’ is going to start off its second schedule today in Chennai. Early to this the team has wrapped the intro song in the scenic locations of Bangkok. A big set was erected in Chennai studio to shoot important scenes in the film.
Arjun, Ganesh Venkatram, Trisha, Lakshmi Rai, Sneha, Vedhika, Manchu Manoj and Premji Amaran are doing important roles directed by Venkat Prabhu. The film is coming under the banner of Cloud Nine produced by Dhyanidhi Alagiri.
Mankatha will mostly grace the screens on the occasion of Ajith’s birthday i.e. May 1, 2011.
